When you are constipated and have gas d/t meds, which is better solubale or insoluble fiber?

When you are constipated and have gas due to medications that you take in the morning; is it best to eat soluble fiber or insoluble fiber and when is the best time of day to eat that to prevent constipation and gas through out the day?
