Concerned about max dosage of clomid?

I suffer from PCOS and was put on Metformin and Clomid to stimulate my ovaries. Clomid wasn't strong enough so I was put on daily injections of FSH which required a transl ultrasound every 2 days to see if it was providing enough stimulation of my ovaries. The dosage of injections were then increased etc. depending on the results. Once mature follicles were present I was given HCG injection to release them. We did this for 3 cycles which included IUI and on our last cycle before signing up for IVF we conceived our son!
