HELP?! discoloration in my carpet?!?

help me! im 13 years old and about a month ago i spilled red nail polish all over my purple and white ct and a little bit spalttered on my wall. the polish stayed on the wall but i was able to get most of the floor polish out using soapy wtaer and nail polish remover. HOWEVER the nail polish remover contained acetone and now my carpet has a yellow ish tinge in this one big circle under my desk. i ignored it because you goes under there anyways right? except im hooking up a tv on the wall above it for xms and my dad needs to come in and check cords and measurements! i was able to cover the wall splatters wih jonas brothers poster but i cant put anything over the stain or he'll just move it. ANY WAY TO GET THIS STAIN OUT?! PLEASE HELP!
