My husband and I have been to Maui twice and The Big Island once with a few friends the first two times then by ourselves this last time. i found out this ped tuesday that im pregnant after ttc for over a year (yay!) i found out at the hospital because i was having bad dizzy spells. well the doctor said he was a little concerned about how bad the dizziness is and that my blood hormone level was so low that it barely detected the pregnancy but the urine test they ran showed up well. he said that because of this he's a little worried that it might be a tubal pregnancy (even though he didnt give me an ultrasound) i know i would be somewhere from 3-5 weeks pregnant (it's hard to pinpoint because my cycle was very irregular. im just wondering how often do tubal pregnancies happen and what are signs i should look for? im so terrified about this and im angry the doctor didnt give me an ultrasound. any help will be very appriciated. thanks!!!!

Perm disaster? Thinking about getting another?

About 3 years ago, I mistakenly got a perm from a Walmart salon (yes, HUGE mistake). I told her I wanted waves. My hair was past my shoulders and was very healthy. Well, when the women did my perm, she seemed very unsure of what she was doing and my hair started smoking, while the curlers kept falling out of my hair and were very loose. This severely damaged my hair; it was awful. All that has been chopped off since and my hair is straight and normal now. My hairs themselves are fine, but I have a lot of hair, that is what every hairdresser I've ever had tells me. What kind of a perm would I tell a hairdresser I want, if I want waves? not tiny, shallow waves, but larger, curvier waves? I do dye my hair, but probably once every 2-3 months and it is healthy. Would I be a good candidate for a perm? My hair is very straight.And another question,do all perms ruin your hair, or was the woman who did my perm just not experienced? Thanks :)

no big dipper. it looks like it was taken through a telescope, and i don't see any constellations because it is zoomed in too far so the double cluster is more visible. You wouldn't be able to get that good of a photo of the double cluster without zooming. by the way, if you get a good star chart and some binoculars you can see this particular cluster very well. that might be a nice addition to this poster if you are giving as a gift.

What could be causing battery drainage? 2006 galant 39,000 miles. new replaced batt. out in 2 months. pls hlp!

Scenario: I have a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant ES. I bought the car with about 25,000 miles on it in Dec. '06. It now has 39,000 miles on it. The initial battery went out about 2-3 months ago so I bought a new one. When the new one was placed in my car, it worked fine. However, this week (only about 2 months after installation) its beginning to need jumps all over again. If anyone knows anything about the newer model Galants, the lights go out afterwhile if you leave them on, so that's not the problem. I've considered it being the alternator or starter. Also, there is like a big metal to metal noise under the hood as well. It only really sounds off when I'm pulling off, when I'm on a constant go its silenced. Someone suggested this may be the engine. What do you all think? PLEASE HELP!

We have a 14 year old son named Wesley. Our son has never been this crazy until he started highschool. We gave him a curfew of 10 o'clock and there are days when he wouldn't show up until 12 or even 2 in the morning. Something similar happened to me. Someone put a card with the wrong gift and I sent a thank you card to the couple I thought had given it to us. They read the card and immediately told me I had thanked them for the wrong gift. So I thanked them for the proper gift and to this day (almost 3 years later) I still have no idea who gave us the other gift. What Thickness Drywall should I use?

I am finishing my bonus room. I plan to use 1/2 on the kneewall. From there it goes up at a 45 degree angle 56 inches. The top ceiling is 42 inches wide. I am going to attach the drywall vertically to avoid to many joints plus the scrap works out much better and I would be using more manageable sizes. The trusses are on 2 foot centers. A friend said I should use 5/8 for the 45 and ceiling. Would I have any problems if I used 1/2 everywhere?

Concerned about max dosage of clomid?

I suffer from PCOS and was put on Metformin and Clomid to stimulate my ovaries. Clomid wasn't strong enough so I was put on daily injections of FSH which required a transl ultrasound every 2 days to see if it was providing enough stimulation of my ovaries. The dosage of injections were then increased etc. depending on the results. Once mature follicles were present I was given HCG injection to release them. We did this for 3 cycles which included IUI and on our last cycle before signing up for IVF we conceived our son!

Today when I picked my son up from daycare, he was complaining of a stomach ache. Since stomach aches are so common in children, I thought nothing of it. Then he began throwing up. I called the daycare soon after to see if any other children had come down with or been recovering from the stomach virus, and they told me no. I unpacked his book bag and found a tin of Icebreakers mints, which were almost all gone. I asked my son where he had gotten them, and he said one of his friends at school gave it to him. ok i need BBC (280 ucas points) in my A levels for uni, and for AS i got ABD.. which i guess in the equivalent of BBC. well i took on a BTEC national award, if i get a C i have another 40 ucas points, if i get a B i have another 80. i think i got a B so thats 80 ucas points, which means i need 200 ucas pointspoints in my A levels (only CDD) i can of course get that, but im thinking the university might not consider the BTec national - they said they would, but i dont get my results on the same day as the A levels, and so the universoty might decide my place without knowing the results to all of my grades. im worried i wont get in even though i still get the 280 points required, because they will see my A level results but not take into consideration my BTEC because i receive it on a different day ( i still receive the grade before this september, im just not sure when)

It brings you to a black screen with white/gray type saying an error occured and Windows cannot open, etc. Then it says 3 options about midway down, I believe the first option is safe mode, can't remember others at moment. But then it has an option to use last good configuration known or to start windows normally. We had same thing happen to our desktop a while back and it was the hard drive. They took me through steps over the phone to try and fix it, but it didn't work so we ended up bringing it to a repair shop, and it sat there for 1 whole month. Long story short, I am wondering if anyone can tell me what to do to try and fix it? Even if I have to reformat the whole thing. I do work on my computer and need it back up, WITHOUT having to have it sit at repair shop for a month again! THANKS!
