What is your opinion of the confederate flag?

i asked a question earlier about obama and everybody accused me of not liking him because of my flag as a profile picture. they all thought i was racist and to me this doesnt mean that it is a southern pride thing. i lived in texas my whole life and i love it and the south and i would never move. yes we have a lot of people here that is racist but not all. i am not racist at all towards any race. it bugs me that people profile people because of where they live or the flag they raise now if i had a natzi star then i could understand it because only white supremacist groups have them. that is there symbol they use i have never seen a texan put a nazi star on there truck.
