Lil help? Guy trouble!?

I have been in an intimate (JUST intimate) relationship for about 10 months. This is the type of guy who likes his freedom. He really is a great guy, but he doesn't want the "girlfriend" part...like "where are you", What are you doing". I also like my freedom but think I may be falling in love. He isn't sleeping with anyone else. I know this because early on I asked him to tell me and when he did one time...he told me. Am I in lala land thinking that things might change? He has been more very attentive lately. Any advice is good with me.
