What food should I make for my cousin's wedding?

My cousin is getting married in mid-November but she doesn't have much money to spend on the wedding itself. I thought something nice I could do for her is make some food for the reception. I know that she is already having sandwich platters, chips and dip, and a wedding cake but I thought there might be something else I could contribute like maybe an appetizer and an additional dessert. I'm not sure what I should make though. I'm a good cook but I want something that I don't have to "baby" too much or is too hard. The wedding is taking place about an hour from my city so I want something that can travel well. I'd need to make enough for 60 people. I'd appreciate any suggestions about what I should make. :)
