What is the cheapest place and/or way to fly to/from Europe?

Your cheapest flight (absent some special deal) is almost always going to be New York to London. You can get flights to London for not too much more from Chicago and maybe a couple of other eastern cities. I see that there are great prices to Ireland right now and you may be able to find deals to other European cities as well. There is a website (www.vayama.com) that specializes in international flights, and you can find some spectacular deals on there. I flew to Rome roundtrip for about $400 out of Miami by booking there. Just be aware that once you book, you will not be able to make changes to your flight. FYI, Europe is tough to do on a budget right now because the dollar is worthless against the Euro. I got back a few weeks ago, and it was common to pay ten dollars for a McDonalds value meal.
